The thermostat features a dedicated timed circuit, allowing you to control separate heaters, lighting fans, HabiStat Rainmaker and Rainmaker Pro, or Humidifier Systems, switching them on and off twice within a 24-hour period.
The low voltage sensor, featuring a waterproof design and a 3-meter long cable, ensures accurate temperature readings and durability.
Customise the alarm settings to offer visual and audible alerts when the temperature exceeds or falls below your desired parameters. Enhanced Safety Features
Recognising the sensitivity of scientific instruments, like the Habistat Digital Dimming Thermostat, to heater short circuits, we’ve taken extra steps to enhance safety. The thermostat contains a Super Fast blow fuse, providing protection against heater short circuits, significantly reducing the risk of thermostat damage.
Additionally, a secondary safety feature has been introduced, turning off the heating source if the thermostat is damaged by a heating short circuit. The safety cut-out activates based on the alarm setting, so be mindful not to set the alarm too narrowly (close to the desired set temperature). The default manufacturer setting is 3°C, which is the minimum recommended for the alarm setting.
