HabiStat Pulse Thermostat Pro provides highly accurate temperature control for non-light-emitting reptile heat sources. Instead of switching the heater fully on and off, this thermostat sends rapid pulses of power to maintain a stable temperature, reducing fluctuations and creating a more consistent thermal gradient inside the enclosure.

Suitable for ceramic heaters, heat mats and heat cable, the Pulse Pro supports a combined load of 450W. It is not suitable for basking lamps or deep heat projectors, as the pulsing action would cause visible flicker or shorten heater lifespan. For those heat sources, use a dimming thermostat.

How It Works:

The thermostat measures temperature at the probe and sends rapid pulses of power to the heater. This smooth modulation keeps temperatures stable while avoiding the harsher cycling of an on/off thermostat, making it ideal for under-tank and radiant non-light-emitting heat sources.

Safety & Thermostat Guidance:

• Position the probe directly where temperature accuracy is needed (e.g. warm hide or heated zone).
• Secure the probe cable so animals cannot dislodge it.
• Allow 24–48 hours of testing before introducing animals.
• Do not exceed the 450W combined load.
• Replace the fuse only with the correct ultra-rapid FF3.15A type.
