Please be aware that the HabiStat Temperature Thermostat is not suitable for controlling light bulbs. The constant on/off cycling of light bulbs could distress your animals. It will also lead to frequent lamp failures, potentially affecting the thermostat’s performance. For light-emitting heat sources, we recommend using HabiStat Dimming Thermostats.
