Arcadia Ceramic Heater Lamp – Infra Red Heating Lamp – 100 watt
The Arcadia Reptile Ceramic Heat Lamp is designed to generate and project high quality infrared heat deep into your enclosure, providing a natural heat source that promotes biological functions. Notably, infrared heat is readily utilized and contributes to stimulating natural behaviors in reptiles.
These ceramic heat lamps are ideal for environments where consistent heat is required day and night. They emit no visible light, making them a perfect choice for setups that need to maintain essential circadian rhythms without introducing unwanted light disturbances.
Manufactured to the highest standards, these E27 screw fitting lamps feature an attractive black finish. Backed by a 1-year guarantee, when used correctly, they offer lasting and targeted heat for your reptiles.
Given their potential to become very hot, it’s crucial for the safety of both your pets and yourself that these lamps are used exclusively with the correct wattage and rated E27 Ceramic lamp holder. Moreover, they should not be placed directly against flammable materials or other electrical items, and it’s strongly advised to keep them enclosed within a suitable heat guard / cage at all times.
For optimal heat transfer, it’s recommended to place a thick natural slate or rock underneath the heat lamp, at a suitable distance depending on the species.
To further protect your animals and to extend the life of the ceramic heater lamp these lamps should be used with a suitable Pulse Proportionate Thermostat.
Regularly check the temperature with a separate thermometer to ensure accurate heat regulation and protect your animals effectively.
Temperatures Ranges Achieved – Ceramic Lamp Wattage Comparisons
As can be seen from the table below the approximate temperatures achieved by Ceramic Heat Lamps can become very hot and therefore they must not be left unregulated without a suitable thermostat nor should they be fitted without a suitable cage / guard.
Direct contact with unregulated and un guarded Ceramic Heat Lamps can be dangerous to your pets well being and may lead to serious burns and even death.
Do not take risks with your animals health and welfare.
