Ceramic Heat Lamps

Ceramic Heat Lamps are also known as Ceramic Heat Emitters or simply Ceramic Bulbs. They are designed to project essential Infra-Red heat into your enclosure, promoting natural biological function.

Emitting no visible light, these lamps are ideal for maintaining consistent heat day and night, respecting vital circadian rhythms.  As a result your pet reptiles will not be  disrupted with unwanted light.

To help achieve heat transfer you can place a thick natural slate or rock underneath the heat lamp.  Position the rock at a safe distance so your pet can use it  without being too close to the heat source.

Ensuring the safety of your pets and your space is paramount. It’s therefore crucial to use the correct wattage Ceramic lamp holder to handle the heat effectively. You should not use plastic bulb holders as they may melt. Additionally, proper placement away from flammable materials and electrical items is essential, with suitable caging for added safety.

All heat sources should be controlled by a quality thermostat, and our recommendation is the HabiStat Pulse Thermostat for optimal control.

For a reliable choice, we recommend Arcadia Ceramic Heat Lamps which are available in 50 watts, 100 watts, and 150 watts.

Please keep in mind you need to choose the wattage that suits your enclosure’s needs.  The higher. the wattage the more heat the lamp generates.

Elevate your reptile’s environment with the precision and safety of Ceramic Heat Lamps from Arcadia.
