How to Prepare:

  1. Pour boiling water into a bowl and stir in powder – mix 1 part powder to 2–3 parts water.

  2. Let the mixture cool or pour into moulds to set. You can also paste it onto rocks or décor for grazing fish.

  3. The gel will firm in about 30 minutes at room temperature.

Cut into cubes or thin strips to feed. Refrigerate for up to two weeks, or freeze for up to six months.

For a Firmer “Jerky” Gel:

  1. Prepare as above and cut into small cubes or strips.

  2. Dry completely in an oven or food dehydrator at 65 °C (150 °F) for 8–12 hours.

    Pygmy Corys love it, so do shrimp. easy to make, it sinks nicely and breaks up as they eat, so everyone gets food. I tried this because flake food was getting sucked into filter before they finished it.
