Installation & Positioning:

The ProT5 ShadeDweller Terrestrial unit can be securely fixed inside a wooden vivarium, rested on top of a mesh-covered glass terrarium, or suspended where safe to do so.

This terrestrial version is optimised for enclosures where the basking distance is typically around 20–30 cm (8–12”). It is ideal for lower-profile setups where reptiles remain closer to the ground or hardscape.

When used on mesh lids, allow for UV reduction caused by the mesh when setting distances.
