The HabiStat Mat Stat is one of our top-selling thermostats, offering excellent control over the temperature of heat mats and other low-powered heaters, with a maximum load capacity of 300 watts.
As an on/off thermostat, it efficiently powers the heater at full capacity until the desired temperature is reached. Once the set temperature is achieved, the thermostat switches off the heater until the temperature drops below the desired value, maintaining a consistent and comfortable environment for your reptiles. The thermostat features convenient power and heat indicators that shine when switched on.
The Mat Stats are available in both black and white models and designed for temperature control within the range of 16 – 34°C.
Please be aware that the HabiStat Mat Stat Thermostat is not suitable for controlling light bulbs. The constant on/off cycling of light bulbs could distress your animals and lead to frequent lamp failures, potentially affecting the thermostat’s performance. For light-emitting heat sources, we recommend using HabiStat Dimming Thermostats.

A very simple product to use set the temperature that you want the device to switch on at, it will activate accordingly – seems pretty accurate at controlling my habistat heat mat.
